I’m a former professional baseball player, a husband, a father of three, and the co-founder of Birdies in The Outfield. Competition has always been a huge part of my life, and golf became the place where that fire never really left. Alongside my best friend Jomel — someone I’ve competed with for more than 20 years — we started Birdies in The Outfield to document one last run at high-level competition through our series Road to the Grass League.

For me, golf is bigger than a scorecard. It’s about pressure, friendship, and the moments that happen in between shots. My family is the reason I chase this dream and the reason the journey means so much. I wear my emotions on my sleeve, play with everything I’ve got, and believe the game is at its best when it actually means something.
