James Love played collegiate golf at the University of Denver, where he earned All-American honors and became the program’s first Division I player to advance to the final round of the NCAA National Championship, finishing T-20. He also set a school record scoring average and won multiple collegiate events.

He went on to compete in over 40 professional events on the Korn Ferry Tour, recording multiple top-10 finishes in addition over 100 events on the Canadian Tour and captured a victory at the Canadian Tour Championship. Also was rookie of the year in 2007.
