My name is Gibson Terry. I’m a native Texan and lifelong competitive golfer, currently a +4 handicap. I played college golf at Arkansas Tech University before transferring to Baylor. I turned professional in 2020 and competed on the APT (All Pro Tour) for 1.5 years before reinstating my amateur status.

I’ve competed in the Texas Amateur, Texas Mid-Amateur, Texas Mid Am Match Play and in 2025 qualified for the gross division of the Golf Digest Open, finishing top 5 at Streamsong.

Outside competitive play, I’ve built a golf content platform on Instagram (@bigtexgolf) since September 2025, and I’ll be appearing on the ShortGameKings YouTube channel in an upcoming episode. I love to compete, and I’d welcome the opportunity to play for a spot in the league.
