Golf has always been my passion, but my path back to the tour has been anything but conventional.
After turning pro, I was playing well—until life threw challenges my way. My brother David battled sickle cell, and then COVID hit. Long COVID kept me off the course longer than I ever imagined. Just as I started to recover, my mother was diagnosed with cancer, and my father suffered a stroke. My family needed me, so I stepped up, putting my dreams on hold to take care of them.
I never let go of my love for the game. While training with George Gankas, I worked as a substitute teacher for several years and honed my game. I’m back and ready to win.
