I was born deaf and raised in Southern California, specifically in Ventura, before relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, eight years ago. I began playing baseball at the age of three and continued until I was 22 years old. However, my interest shifted to golf, a sport my father introduced me to when I was 15. I participated in amateur tournaments, winning numerous championships, although I lost count. At 27, I turned professional and played until my mid-30s, after which I took a break. I resumed playing in 2023 and noticed significant improvement in my game. My goal is to qualify for the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour in 2025-2026, aspiring to become the first deaf golfer to achieve this feat. Many know me by my nickname 'BOOOOM,' due to my powerful hitting, and I often jokingly say 'CAN'T HEAR U' to add some humor.
