December 5 - 6, 2025

The 2025 GL Championship presented by Gila River Resorts and Casinos brought the 2025 Season back to the home of the Grass League, Grass Clippings Rolling Hills. In addition to the tournament trophy, the Inaugural Season Long Points race title was also on the line.

Each franchise fielded 4 pairs, for a total field of 80 golfers. A stacked field boasted PGA Tour winners, LPGA players, mini tour grinders, and some of the top golf talent in the world.

After the first day, the San Diego Munis pair of Matt Ryan and Kevin Lucas held a 1-shot lead at -12 (42), and looked poised to come home with both the tournament and points race for their squad.

However, during the final round, the brother/sister duo of Ryan and Gabi Ruffels from the Los Angeles Roses (owned by Dave Roberts) posted a -13 (41), a Grass League record and a score that earned them the 2025 GL Championship trophy.

Despite Ryan and Lucas falling short of winning the event, the San Diego Munis (owned by Wyndham Clark) did secure enough points to be crowned as the winners of the Season Long Points Race.

LIVE AT THE CLUBHOUSE

It wouldn’t be a Grass League event without music. At the 2025 GL Championship, the “Live at the Clubhouse” series returned in force.

Each night in the hospitality tents around property, music from DJ’s started the party, until Country Night took the main stage and set the crowd on fire.

The opening night had a perfomrance from Grammy nominated country artists Midland.

The following night, rising star BigXthaPlug brought the tournament to a close with an amazing performance.
