Getting Started

What is Grass League Pick’em?

Grass League Pick’em is Grass League’s official game of skill. Test your knowledge of Grass League golfers and franchises by making picks against a set of questions for each event — climb the leaderboard, and compete for real cash prizes and rewards.

Do I need to create an account to look around?

No. You can browse pools, see prize details, and check out the questions before creating an account. You’ll only be asked to sign up (and, for Cash-Prize Pools, link a wallet) at the moment you’re ready to submit an entry — anything you’ve already picked is saved through that process.

How old do I have to be to play?

It depends on the type of pool:

• Cash-Prize Pools (real cash prizes): you must be 18 or older. If you’re a legal resident of Nebraska or Alabama, you must be 19; if you’re a legal resident of Iowa or Massachusetts, you must be 21.
• Non-Cash Reward Pools (no cash prize — rewards only): players 13–17 may participate.
• Players under 13 are not eligible to play.

What devices can I play on?

Grass League Pick’em works on any device with a browser — no app download required.

Can I have more than one account?

No — one account per person. Accounts found to be duplicates, or shared between users, will be deactivated, and any prizes tied to those accounts will not be honored.

Why is Pick’em asking for my location?

Eligibility to enter Cash-Prize Pools varies by state, so we check location to confirm you’re in an eligible location before you enter a paid pool.

Account & Login

How do I create an account?

Tap Sign Up, and enter your name, email, and phone number to build your profile — you can add a profile photo and pick your franchise while you’re at it. You can also sign up with Google for a faster setup.

Do I have to log in every time?

No — once you’re signed in on a device, you’ll generally stay logged in for about 30 days.

What’s the difference between my Pick’em account and my wallet?

Your Pick’em account is your Grass League profile — your picks, your franchise, your stats. Your wallet is where cash entries and prizes are held, and it’s linked separately the first time you enter a Cash-Prize Pool. You’ll only go through the wallet setup once.

Can I change my phone number?

Reach out to support — because your phone number is tied to your wallet, this has to be updated for you rather than changed directly in the app.

Making Picks & Entering Pools

How do I enter a pool?

Open any available pool from the home screen, work through the pick flow question by question, review your picks, and submit.

What kinds of questions will I see?

Each pool has up to 12 questions, and each question is one of three formats: Multiple Choice (up to 3 options), Yes/No, or Dropdown. Every question is worth one point — there’s no bonus scoring for harder questions.

How long do I have to make my picks?

Every pool has its own open and close time, shown as a countdown on the pool. Once a pool closes, no new entries or edits are accepted.

Can I change my picks after I submit?

Yes — you can edit your picks as many times as you like right up until the pool closes. Once it closes, your entry is locked in.

Can I enter the same pool more than once?

No — one entry per person, per pool. Re-entries aren’t scored separately, so there’s no advantage to trying to enter twice.

What happens if I don’t finish making my picks in time?

Entries that aren’t submitted before the pool closes don’t carry over, and any entry fee already paid for that pool is not refundable — so it’s worth submitting a little ahead of the deadline.

How is the prize pool funded?

Every pool’s prize pool is funded peer-to-peer, by entries — you’re competing against other fans, not against the house.

Cash-Prize Pools: Wallet, Deposits & Withdrawals

Applies only to Cash-Prize Pools. Non-Cash Reward Pools don’t require a wallet.

How do I fund an entry?

Link your wallet from your account menu, or you’ll be prompted to add funds directly during the pick flow if your balance doesn’t cover the entry. You can fund your wallet via Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, credit card, or bank account.

Is there a limit on how much I can add to my wallet?

Yes — up to $300 per transaction, and $300 total per day.

How do I get my winnings out?

From your linked wallet, choose Withdraw. If you funded your wallet with PayPal or Venmo, you’ll need to withdraw through that same method. Withdrawals range from $2 to $5,000.

Why is Pick’em asking for my SSN?

An SSN, birthday, and mailing address are required the first time you withdraw. This is standard for anyone receiving cash prizes, and it’s what allows us to send you a 1099 for tax purposes if you qualify.

I’m not comfortable providing my SSN — do I have to?

It’s required to complete a withdrawal of real cash prizes. If you have concerns, our support team can walk you through why it’s needed and how it’s handled.

Non-Cash Reward Pools

What’s the difference between a Cash-Prize Pool and a Non-Cash Reward Pool?

Cash-Prize Pools pay out real cash to winners and require you to be 18+ (or older, in a few states) with a linked wallet. Non-Cash Reward Pools don’t involve any cash prize — they’re open to players 13 and up, and don’t require a wallet.

Is a free pool the same as a Non-Cash Reward Pool?

Not necessarily — some free-to-enter pools still pay real cash prizes to winners. Whether a pool is a Cash-Prize Pool depends on the prize it offers, not on whether it costs anything to enter. Check the pool detail page to see what a specific pool is offering before you enter.

Scoring, Results & Payouts

When will I see my results?

Questions are scored individually by a Grass League administrator as results become official, and the leaderboard updates live as that happens. Once every question in a pool has been scored, the pool is settled and prizes are paid out.

Why don’t I see points for a question yet?

That question hasn’t been officially scored yet. Live standings update in real time as each question is scored — check back as results come in.

When do I get paid if I win a Cash-Prize Pool?

Prizes are credited to your linked wallet as soon as the pool is settled — no separate claim or QR code needed.

What if I disagree with how a question was scored?

Reach out to support with the pool name and question in question, and our team will look into it.

Leaderboards & Pool History

Can I see the leaderboard for a pool I entered?

Yes — every pool has a live leaderboard showing the top entrants, scores, and your own position highlighted.

Can I look at a pool after it’s closed?

Yes — closed pools remain viewable, including their full question set and final leaderboard. Individual users’ picks aren’t shown to other players.

Where do I find pools I’ve entered in the past?

Your profile includes a history of every pool you’ve entered, with a link to that pool’s leaderboard and your result.

Can I share my results?

On mobile, yes — you can share an image of your result for a pool you’ve won directly from your profile.
