A native of Basalt, Colorado, Jim is known for his time on the PGA Tour from 2019 – 2022. He also spent time playing on the DP World Tour along with the Korn Ferry Tour. He graduated and played college golf at Colorado School of Mines where he was a standout. In 2025 he fired a final round 62 in the Inspirato Colorado Open to secure the victory. Jim currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his family.
