Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Started playing golf at age 14. Placed as well as 12 on the AJGA rankings as a junior golfer. Played 2 years at San Diego State University and won the Prestige by Charles Schwab in my sophomore year. Transferred to Oklahoma State for my last 3 years of college in 2020.
Finished 2nd in the stroke play portion of the 2019 US Am. Finished 4th in the 2021 Sunnehanna Am, sweet 16 in the 2021 Western Am, 20th in the 2021 Asia Pacific Amateur and 5th in the 2022 Asia Pacific Amateur, representing Japan. Placed as high as 92 on the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

Played on Asian Tour and Asian Development Tour in 2024.
