Matt Parziale won the 2017 U.S. Mid Amateur Championship, earning a place in the 2018 Masters Tournament and establishing himself on the national stage. He has competed in two U.S. Opens and was Low Amateur at the 2018 U.S. Open. He is also a Massachusetts Amateur champion and a multiple time Massachusetts Mid Amateur winner, along with several other state and regional titles. From 2014 to 2019, Matt served as a firefighter with the Brockton Fire Department, where discipline and composure under pressure shaped his approach to competition. He now works in the insurance industry, advising families and businesses on risk management and protection strategies. The focus remains on preparation, tournament play, and earning the next opportunity to compete. The Grass League is the next stage to test his game.
