I love this game, as I grew up playing golf starting from the age of 5 it was just me, my dad and a shag bag in an open field. My dad made a flagstick by putting two iron shafts together and a towel at the end of it. We didn’t have a range finder at that time so we would walk every step from 30 yards to 50 yards, all the way out to 150 yards to get distance. I grew up playing golf in its true art form. In 2025 I took T2 at Washington Open, top 10 at Oregon Open, top 10 at Rosaures, WIN at NW Open, I missed the US Open by 2 shots in the final round at Wine Valley after leading the first round, multiple top 5s in Canada mini tour known as VGT, also player of the year for the Western Washington Chapter PGA playing 27 events with 7 wins, 10 runner ups, 10 top 3s. All while being the Head Golf Instructor for Five Iron Golf-Kirkland. Grass League reminds me of how golf was played when I grew up. Fun, Challenging, Competitive and Commodore and I want to play for that.
