Once a decorated junior golfer hailing from the long, cold winters of Wisconsin, Ryan ultimately landed on the roster at Marquette University in Milwaukee where he played four years while earning an engineering degree. As a Mid-Am, Ryan qualified for the 2016 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball at Winged Foot Golf Club.
Despite now living in the golf mecca of Pinehurst, North Carolina, Ryan's annual rounds played has steadily decreased with each child added to his family - now up to seven. The competitive fire still burns, but these days you're most likely to find Ryan grinding at a member-guest or club championship than playing in state ams.
