A native of Albany, Oregon. Hans played college golf at Mercer University where he won several events as a Bear. He was recognized as a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference All Decade team. Upon graduating, Hans went on to play multiple years on the PGA Tour Latino America and Canadian Tour. He has since regained his amateur status and has played in a total of 4 USGA Championships, most recently the 2023 and 2024 US Mid Am Championship. He currently resides in Phoenix and is a member at Phoenix Country Club.
