I’m Mikel Martinson small town kid from Throckmorton Tx Population 700. State Qualifier all 4 Years (Jr Year played State Tennis & Golf the same day) State Champ in golf.

Played 2 years at New Mexico Jr College (All American ) & 2 years at Wayland Baptist University ( All American & Character Act Award at Nationals x2)

Turned Pro in 2008 - Won Texas State Open in 2009. I’ve had status on PGA Latin America, PGA Canada “Mackenzie Tour” & KornFerry Tour 2019-21. Several Wins on Mini Tours, biggest 2018 Bogey Hills Invitational.

The Last few years I’ve lived out in West Texas working in oilfield sales & staying competitive with my golf. Fully Reinstated into the Amateur World in 2025!! I’ve got several buddies playing Grass League from golf over the last 15+ years so it’s been fun keeping up with it & I’m looking forward to getting out there with them & competing again.
