The 2026 Summer Grind marked the second time the Grass League hosted a tournament at Goat Hill Park in Oceanside, California.

Each of the 11 Grass League franchises fielded 5 pairs, for a total field of 110 golfers.

The week kicked off with the debut of the creator pro-am competition called The Showcase. 22 creators paired with 22 Grass League players to compete in an 18 hole scramble. Results from The Showcase would determine the amount of shots each group would receive in The Ace Race hole-in-one competition the following evening featuring a $100,000 jackpot for an ace and $40,000 for closest-to-the-pin. The Minnesota Muskies squad led by Jesse Mueller and Scott Harvey and bolstered by creators Matt Fisher (Mr. Short Game) and Andrew Zanzig (MyGolfSpy) defeated the Dallas Horsemen crew in a 2 hole playoff to secure the victory and earn 7 shots in The Ace Race.

The following day, Round 1 of The Summer Grind kicked off and saw the Hollywood Hitters Torey Edwards and Stephen Hale fire an -11 round to put themselves in the lead after 18 holes.

The Ace Race kicked off after Round 1 and the creators and Grass League players took their shots at huge payouts. Austin Quick from Phoenix United would stick it close, but his partner, Tyler Weworski, followed up immediately with a shot that stopped 3 feet 2 inches from the hole. This would prove to be the winning distance, and the Phoenix United team which included Hayden Sylte and Nick Austin would take home the $40,000 prize.

Then on Sunday came the decisive final round of the tournament. Rain softened the greens and players took advantage. Mason Glinski and Dylan Vanderveer would post a -12 final round bringing their 2-day total to -19 and gaining the top spot.

But, Parker Reddig and David Bradshaw from the Scottsdale Strikers went unconscious on the back 9, birdieing all but 1 hole to post a final score of -20 and securing the 2026 Summer grind title.
